Check explicit rules

File Readiness Check

Check the files you plan to send, upload or publish against the requirements you actually have.

Choose files or a folder. If a compatible set is already in the TaskThimble workbench it can be reused automatically.

Only rules you enter here are checked. TaskThimble does not invent marketplace, client or legal requirements.

Check the rules that actually matter for the delivery

Use File Readiness Check when a client, CMS, marketplace, archive or internal process defines concrete requirements for a file set. Enter the rules you know—such as allowed formats, maximum or minimum file sizes, required counts, filename patterns or required labels—and check the selected files against those rules.

Readiness is requirement-specific

A file is only “ready” relative to requirements. This tool checks the explicit rules you enter, rather than treating generic heuristics as universal standards. A JPEG can be perfectly valid for one destination and unacceptable for another.

Separate blockers from review items

When an explicit rule is broken, the result can identify a concrete blocker. Other differences may still require judgement. TaskThimble keeps that distinction visible so a soft review signal is not presented as a hard failure.

Passing is not the same as correctness

A passing result does not prove that the content is correct, current, legally approved or accepted by an external platform. It means the selected files satisfy the rules checked here. Content review, platform-specific validation and final approval can still be separate steps.

Save the check and run it again after fixes

Use the result as evidence of which rules were tested, correct the blockers, then re-run the same requirements on the final output set before delivery. This makes the readiness check a repeatable gate rather than a one-off guess.
