Image Set Check

Review image size, canvas shape, brightness, transparency and format as a set. Differences are signals for review, not automatic defects.

Add images

Choose images or a folder, or reuse a compatible current image/file set from the local TaskThimble workbench. You may also set an explicit minimum image side; the other checks are relative to this selected set.

Review the whole image set, not one file at a time

Image Set Check is designed for folders or batches where consistency matters. It compares measurable image facts such as dimensions, canvas shape, brightness, transparency and format so unusual items are easier to find before delivery.

Set-relative signals are review prompts

An image that differs from the others is not necessarily wrong. Creative intent, crop differences and product-specific images can all be valid. TaskThimble surfaces the difference so you can decide instead of automatically labeling every outlier as a defect.

Dimensions and canvas shape answer different questions

Two images can have similar pixel counts while using different aspect ratios or canvas sizes. That may matter for a catalog, gallery or templated layout even when both files are technically valid images.

Transparency and brightness can reveal inconsistent output

A transparent background in one file, or a noticeably different overall brightness, can indicate a different export path. These are useful comparison signals, not proof that an image is visually wrong.

Explicit requirements are different

If you enter a minimum side, falling below it is a direct rule failure. Marketplace, CMS or client requirements should be checked explicitly rather than inferred from the set. Use File Readiness Check when the delivery has broader file rules beyond image characteristics.

If you arrived from another compatible TaskThimble image tool, this check can reuse a compatible current local image set without requiring you to select the same files again.

Correct copies, then re-check the final set

When a difference is unintended, create corrected copies with the appropriate image tool rather than overwriting the source silently. Run Image Set Check again on the final output before handoff.
