Create new still-image copies without ordinary embedded metadata by decoding and re-encoding them locally in your browser.
Choose files or a folder. PNG, JPEG, WebP, BMP and AVIF sources are accepted when your browser can decode them. Animated GIF is deliberately excluded from copy-generation to avoid silently losing animation.

This is a re-encode, not a byte-for-byte metadata edit. It is intended for ordinary still images, not animated or specialist image containers.
The browser decodes the visible image and TaskThimble writes a new image file from those pixels. Ordinary EXIF and similar source metadata are therefore not copied into the new output.
This does not prove that every possible forensic trace or externally stored record has disappeared. It only describes the newly generated image file.
